The Cambodia Mine Action Centre has received a grant of more than $170,000 from APOPO, a rat-demining organization, to support the HeroRat activities in clearing landmines in Siem Reap province. Also, in 2018, CMACC will also receive $1.2 million from the United Nations Development Program for a one-year mine clearance project called Clearing for Results in Pailin, Battambang and Banteay Meanchey provinces. With this project, CMAC plans to demine a total of 7,500,000 square metres of land. …
